Financial Policy

G.I.V.E is governed by a Board of Directors, you can get to know us here! We are held accountable through donor receipts, monthly reports, and newsletters  and audited quarterly . We are a certified charity partner  of the The Great Commission Foundation and all tax receiptable donations are disbursed through our partnership with them. (GCF).

We endeavour to use each gift towards an approved project and as desired by our donors.  If, and when, any given need has been met, the understanding is that the gift will be used where it is most needed or where another opportunity of similar nature exists.  All receiptable online or in person donations will  be acknowledged  by GCF/GIVE when processed via email.  All donations will be receipted with an official receipt for income tax purposes at the end of the calendar year following Canada Revenue Agency guidelines. This is sent out between January 1 and February 15 of each year. 

G.I.V.E retains the final decision on how to allocate all general and project donations.
