Executive Director


Dave Kornelsen leads Global Impact Venture Experience. (G.I.V.E) He has a passion for people and a heart to assist those in need, For the last 30 years he has served in leadership roles in both church and charitable organizations. This has led him to have first-hand international involvement in 3 continents and 14 countries. These opportunities  have equipped Dave with an excellent understanding how to serve those in humanitarian need  and maximize the volunteer participant's experience.

Dave, the leader of G.I.V.E, has 30 years of leadership experience through both the church, and charitable organizations. Dave has a heart for connecting with people from all walks of life and aspires to serve humanitarian needs all over the globe.

Kevin Rankin


  Kevin is CEO of Cord 3. An experienced entrepreneur and business operator, he has served as CEO of Tropic Networks, Fidus Systems, and eSight Corp. His innovative leadership skills and joy in serving people ensure G.I.V.E heads in the right direction as we endeavor to connect people.

Susanne Lo


 Susanne has over 30 years experience in the Finance and Administrative sector.

She currently works for a non-profit, where she takes care of the payroll and benefits administration for 400+ employees.

Susanne loves the outdoors and aspires to use the gifts God has given her in every way to further His Kingdom.

Shaundra Oelsner


  Shaundra has 20 years of nursing experience and 16 years of financial planning and management, currently demonstrated in her career as a Senior Associate Manager for Sun Life Financial. Shaundra has a passion for outreach to her community in both a spiritual and practical sense; she is all about people. Her kind and cheerful personality is reflected in the many practical ways she brings help, hope and care to various needs in her community.  

Dr. Mark Herman


 Mark has been a Doctor of Chiropractic for 30 years in a clinic owned by himself and his wife. Through his work he engages in various community outreach opportunities. His passion for life lies in his love for people and their health. He aspires to use his God given skills to aide in the well being of others around the world. 

Alexander Rink


 Alex is an entrepreneur and tech executive with over twenty-five years of experience in entrepreneurship, strategy, and operations. Alex has an MBA from INSEAD and a BASc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and speaks four languages. As a fitness and nutrition enthusiast, Alex is committed to pure living, learning, growth and travel and strives to leave every situation better than he found it. 

Dr. Jeff Balon


 Jeff has spent his life dedicated to patients. He achieves this through direct clinical care in his family practice in Stittsville and as a specialist at the Ottawa Pain Clinic. Dr. Balon is passionate about helping individuals be more active in maintaining their health. His passion to help people, combined with his desire to bring medical care to those who need it most, ensure our medical GIVE teams serve well.

Jamie Herman


Jamie is educated in Architectural Technology and works as a Construction Project Coordinator at a general contracting firm. She aspires to use her passion for drafting and design to connect with people around the world and build a better future for communities with a humanitarian need.
